Anne Valerie Hash Spring 2009PARIS, Sep 29, 2008 / FW / — Lots of white, gray and dusty pink, Anne Valerie Hash fluid silhouettes gave way to jumpsuits, Hellenic dresses even multicolored tunics that conveyed femininity without being saccharine sweet while staying true to the designer’s signature looks.

Fluidity and tautness, courtesy of the braided fabrics around the neck or over the shoulder, mixed very well with the architecturally inspired jackets. Jerseys articulate around twists, making a strong statement.

One of the few emerging designers who had been able to keep both haute couture and ready-to-wear going while other more established houses are faltering, Anne Valerie Hash’s adeptness when it comes to women’s dressing is demonstrated very well in this collection.

Fresh, artistic and still commercially viable, this collection will weather the worldwide recession and credit crunch that has been creeping since 2008 started. Anne Valerie Hash presented a winner and she knows it.
