dsc_6421.jpgMILAN, Sep 23, 2008 / FW/ — Florists are not the only one who are going to have a field day when Spring 2009 comes around. Fashionistas will do, especially if they are wearing Blumarine, which are in rich botanical colors.

Precious shades of lush citrus green, champagne, turquoise blues and bright reds, Ana Molinari envision Spring 2009 as a kaleidoscope of colors. A rose corsage on a beige mini day dress with halter sleeves was followed by a ¾ sleeved mini dress in blue lilies print.

Capri-length trousers were given pleats for a loose fit, and a cummerbund decorated with wisteria as a belt. Ruffles, pleats and ruches adorned the cocktail dresses and Hellenic gowns in lavender and dramatic black were done in layers to create movement.

It was pure bliss, a visit to a secret garden and behold the beauty of both wild and cultivated flowers. It’s also a greenhouse for fashion, where the exotic is also sublime.
