Davidelfin Spring 2009
Davidelfin Spring 2009

MADRID, Sep 22, 2008 / FW/ — Presenting an androgynous collection that leaned heavily on masculine, Davidelfin demonstrated futurism with a peculiar jewelry for the nose that could be either one of the following: (1) a vestigial veil, (2) huge nose ring or a (3) a medical gizmo that helps you breathe.

Whatever this jewelry is beside the point, because it can easily be just an affectation. The real point is that Davidelfin proposed ultra modern and tailored clothes that will be at home in any metropolis in the world.

In this collection entitled ‘Diastema’, Davidelfin used cotton, silk and polyester in white, black and pink, sometimes in metallic shades to give that feeling of ultra modernity.

Relatively a newcomer in the Madrid fashion scene, Davidelfin debuted both in Madrid and in Barcelona in 2002. The label won the Marie Claire Fashion Award best new designer of the year.

In 2004, the DAVIDELFIN BOUTIQUE, Jorge Juan, no. 31, Madrid opened.
