KNOXVILLE, TN / Sep 1, 2008 / — Alison McCaleb of Gardendale realized her dream of modeling, thanks to an amateur model search conducted this spring by Goody’s Family Clothing. The 17-year-old was chosen from more than 1,000 applicants who submitted photographs for the annual contest.
Alison will appear in Goody’s Family Clothing advertisement in Seventeen magazine this December. The spread was shot in New York last month with Alison wearing the popular denim brand Zana-di.
As part of her prize for winning, Alison and her family flew to New York and was also given a private tour of Seventeen magazine offices.
Alison is currently a senior at Gardendale High School, where she plays on the varsity girls’ basketball team. Alison and her family shop at the Goody’s store in Gardendale’s Northgate Village.
