Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring 2009

MILAN, Sep 23, 2008 / FW/ — It was like looking at Monet’s Giverny with the beautiful watercolor prints on skirts and blouses. The pastel floral prints reflect a meadow in full bloom in which freedom and fun seem to be the keywords.

It was like standing on top of a mountain and flipping through the pages of time, stopping to look at the period when romantic was not just a term, but a reality in terms of art and fashion.

Dainty day dresses in a bucolic setting, but these are not ‘country’ looks as we call them because the silhouettes are definitely metropolitan. The charm is undeniable, it’s a like a girl on the verge of womanhood. The naiveté is still there, but underneath is budding sophistication.

The lines are soft and slender; the colors are definitely spring. It’s a collection full of life and movement. It’s euphoric and perfect.
