dsc_6017.jpgMILAN, Sep 23, 2008 / FW/ — Another label that found it comfortable to dress the Internet generation is Sportmax. Sending Capri-length trousers, sheath dresses and jumpsuits on the runway, the very popular American TV show ‘Gossip Girl’ came to mind.

Truly, majority of the looks will be perfect for Leighton Meester and Blake Lively, whether they are in Manhattan or at The Hamptons. Then, on the other hand, there is also a very global feel to the collection, i.e., any teen or twenty-something girl in any part of the world can wear these clothes.

Giving a nod to the neutral color palette of the season, Sportmax opted for browns and beiges, then interspersed them yellow, blue and red for excitement.

Harem pants are paired with double-breasted Courreges-inspired jackets, trench coats with removable hoods, short jumpsuits in stripes, it’s a young girl’s dream wardrobe – something for play, something for dressing up like a grown up.

Still, we are not talking about naïve girls here; we are talking about sophisticated ephebic metro girls who know what they want. And Sportmax just gave them a lot to choose from!
