DALLAS, Nov 6, 2008 / FW/ — The provocative title ‘One Night Stand: For Ladies Only,’ R&B lothario Usher’s latest tour is already getting a lot of media attention. With Usher wearing DSquared2 apparel on the tour, fashionistas are also queuing for tickets.

Designing twins Dean & Dan Caten, the design geniuses behind the label DSquared2 created a variety of looks that Usher and his dancers will wear for the 14-city tour. The looks reflect a sexy and sophisticated DSQUARED2 style, for which the brand is famous for — the perfect match for Usher’s unparalleled taste.

The first part of the concert reflects Usher’s more fashion forward style, featuring tuxedos in black and white and cocktail dresses for women. Usher will wear a white blazer recently revealed on the DSQUARED2 catwalk during the spring/summer 2009 Milan show in June of 2008.

Takin’ you back to the 70’s, the theme behind the collection, features slick, b-boy barber-shop styles of the period. Usher, a known fan of the brand, personally met with Dean and Dan in Milan and gave his seal of approval for the entire spring/summer 2009 collection, as it was a perfect mix of swagger and sophistication.

The second part of the concert consists of a more intimate feel. Usher will wear a custom designed silk robe and slippers. Female dancers will wear lingerie looks, currently available in DSQUARED2 stores. Usher’s final look is casual, yet chic, consisting of denim, a staple category for the influential brand.

The eclectic mix of hip-hop inspired clothing and accessories from the DSQUARED2 SS09 collection, combined with the trend-setting and fashion forward style of Usher, makes this the ideal collaboration between two icons.

Usher’s effortless style and astounding dance moves combined with the gutsy style and attitude of DSQUARED2, make this the perfect opportunity to platform the brand.

Tickets for Usher’s November gig are available at Ticketmaster outlets.
