DALLAS, Nov 30, 2008 / FW/ — Dallas fashionistas have not turned into recessionistas! Day after Thanksgiving, they could be seen entering Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Custo Barcelona, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino and Diesel; and they do not leave empty handed!
Though I would like to give the store windows all the credits for attracting customers, it would be an incomplete assessment. The labels mentioned are well-known, several of them are actually household names.
What’s in a name? Coca-cola and Microsoft will tell you that a ‘name’ or in this case a ‘label’ means a lot. Between the two of them, they are the most expensive labels in the planet.
Going back to Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Custo Barcelona, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino and Diesel, their names alone are enough to attract customers.
