MILAN, Dec 9, 2008 / FW/ — On Thursday night, December 11, Henry Cotton’s University premiers at High Tech in Milan, wherein the label’s Spring / Summer 2009 collection will be available to the press and the public to preview and buy.

Launched last June 2008 at Pitti Uomo, this is the first time ever that Henry Cotton University is made available for public consumption. A partnership between Henry Cotton, Harvard University and Oxford University, the Henry Cotton University label was conceived to link the sense of tradition that permeates in both educational institutions and transmit that same values to the young generation.

This collaboration is a series of many firsts for everyone involved. This is the first time that both Harvard and Oxford had licensed their logo and school crest. This is also the first time that the two schools collaborated in a financial deal. As for Henry Cotton, it is the first time that is collaborating with the two universities.

The collection entitled ‘Hello to you, my future’ offers: polo shirts made of cotton with contrasting details of different materials. Strictly divided into two parts, one devoted to Harvard and Oxford, thus keeping the school’s unique identities.

For Harvard, the school color crimson dominates while for Oxford, blue prevails; different emblems and badges representing the 39 colleges for Oxford and for Harvard, its 14 schools and 12 campuses will be represented.

For the first time the two famous institutions from whose classrooms are leaving the Kings, Saints, Heads of State, Nobel prizes over artists of each field, agreed, signing a license agreement MAP, which was built a collection of clothing whose peculiarity was to transmit, re-interpreting the values that have made the two big universities.

Starting from early December until late January, you can buy the collection from High Tech HCU in Milan.
