Leanne Marshall Fall 2009
Leanne Marshall Fall 2009

NEW YORK, Feb 22, 2009 / FW/ — With continued energy and dedication Leanne Marshall works to develop a growing line that is known for both sculptural and organic silhouettes for the young and sophisticated.

This season black and deep lavender satin are complimented by a bamboo, metallic finished fabric of choice and softened by light grey wool.

Two piece arrangements offered an easy to wear wide neck short sleeve blouse with three quarter length skirts that embraced the signature Leanne characteristics. Ensembles were completed when worn with this savvy full-bodied cropped jacket and black opaque tights.

The collection offered a few fresh twists on the classic shift dress. Variations offered a v-neck line complimented by a high thin wasted bubble skirt, folding techniques at shoulder points and sharp elongating dart manipulations; all were promising fall fashion basics options.

Guests truly enjoyed the lavender cocktail dress that featured a raised thin waistline and full short skirt molded by layers of geometrically edge cut biased strips; lady like and full of life!

All pieces can be nestled under this divine soft grey wool coat. Need I say more…the shape and body of this piece truly speaks for itself.

Full-length evening gowns showed the designers ability to enhance height and posture through the continued experimentation of fold and drapery techniques. Once again Leanne Marshall presents an exciting collection of promising continued success.
