NEW YORK, Feb 22, 2009 / FW/ — Audaciously, Unrath & Strano capture the essence brilliant design in the Fall 2009/ Winter 2010 collection. Black, chocolate and distressed eggplant of leather and wool served as a canvas to show case expert patternmaking and master tailoring craftsmanship.

Women’s silhouettes launched this season with full-bodied baltizar sleeves, scene in both blouses and dresses. Edgy yet classic skinny pants were successfully executed and paired with a timeless cropped jackets featuring, puffed shoulders, straight sleeve and sharp collars lines. These jackets were presented both in simple and intricalty embroidered form. Chic meets comfort when wool dresses and oversized sweaters are styled with trousers, tights and fitted knit caps.

Strengthening posture and poise, silhouettes featured triangular cut waistlines and asymmetrical one-shoulder pieces. An excited audience adjusted when this special all leather gown was unleashed and came striking around the corner and down the runway showcasing the customary asymmetrical style lines.

Bold and confident was the men’s collection that featured strong shoulders and a raised narrow waistline. Fitted trousers featured exposed zipper details and knee drop style lines recreated attitude in men’s leather pants. Ensembles were given texture when overcoats featuring plaid linings and wool piece died fabrication were layered over full-length wool sweaters that promising versatility. Men’s evening garments featured this season version of a black on black tuxedo jacket paired with two-toned black trousers.

Throughout the collections dark color palette soft autumn teal and lighter neutrals were introduced in bold printed scarves and plaid prints in both men’s and women’s ensembles. It was the choice of eastern orange and warm red that show case intricate handwork of more detailed pieces. Commanding was the evening were presentation as the true essence of this German design duo was celebrated.
