Antonio Berardi Fall 2009
Antonio Berardi Fall 2009

PARIS, Mar 13, 2009 / FW/ — A pear-shaped miniskirt decorated sequins or crystal, brief fur jackets and a tunic that look like it was entirely made up of origami folds worn over a long sleeved tee with pagoda shoulders, Antonio Berardi sees fashion as a work of art.

The 3-D texture, courtesy of traditional craftsmanship looked modern, even futuristic at times as Berardi manipulated the silhouettes to create an asymmetrical neckline or emphasize the tiny waist with tie dye designs.

Bustier dresses in black and white and long sleeve coat with rounded shoulders are sometimes paired with thigh high boots for fun. This is an elegantly sexy collection that is bright and fresh.
