PARIS, Mar 15, 2009 / FW/ — There is a dichotomy in Paris this season. While some designers went for the futuristic look, others went for legends and epic heroines. If we put them into accepted genres, we could say the Paris Fall 2009 season is sci-fi / fantasy!
On the last day of the Parisian season, Russian designer Igor Chapurin the legends and epics fork of the trend. Inspired by the world of pre-historic Russia, Chapurin created clear-cut geometric silhouettes as well as soft natural lines.
Sculpted body suits asymmetrical dresses, spacious-cut coats are the mixture reflecting the heroine’s inner world – tough and feminine at the same time.
