Cher Michel Klein Fall 2009

PARIS, Mar 6, 2009 / FW/ — Giving a nod to the black and new vision of gothic, Cher Michel Klein unveiled his particular version of this trend as he proposed the modern Mardi Gras queen which is a mix between the metro girl and the French socialite.

Pagoda shoulders and a small waist kept the silhouette slim. Trousers are either loose and generously cut, or as thin as leggings. Multiple variations of the coat abound, from the quilted neoprene to the traditional winter coat. Interesting pieces include the sweater coat with yarn fabricated to look like fur and constructed like a shawl as part of the coat.

An engaging vision that is elegant and modern, Michel Klein continues to evolve in his craft, always reaching for perfection.
