PARIS, Mar 11, 2009 / FW/ — With the models sporting Bride of Frankenstein hairdo and wearing thigh high boots, Marcel Marongiu gave the Guy Laroche woman a tough chick attitude without leaving their Fifth Avenue penthouses.
Square coats, wide palazzo pants and metallic mini cocktail dresses, Marongiu revisited the 1970s Studio 54 without the famed 8 ball and the disco ball. And though he also proposed day dresses, the collection is more eveningwear than daywear.
But, it does not mean that these women are nocturnal. On the contrary, chances are they hold high powered jobs during day and parties hard at night. We are talking about tough chicks after all.
