DALLAS, Mar 26, 2009 / FW/ — Thursday, Mar 19th, Angela Missoni, Margherita Missoni, Jacquetta Wheeler, Jade Jagger, Jade Parfitt, Jasmine Guinness, and Kate Nash all of whom were wearing Missoni attended the gala opening of the Missoni boutique at 193 Sloane Street.
Following the cocktails at Sloane Street, a private dinner was held at the Locanda Locatelli Restaurant, also in London.
Measuring 3500 square feet across three floors, Missoni’s Sloane Street location features menswear, womenswear and home collections. Customers entering on the ground floor will be greeted with an imposing fringed pendant lamp from the revered Missoni home collection.
The main focus on the ground floor is the accessories area with a round display of Missoni signature handbags. The women’s daywear collection, menswear and Missoni home fashion can also be found here.
Meanwhile, women’s eveningwear as well as a bespoke VIP suite is located on the second floor. Furnished by Missoni Home the suite allows VIP customers privacy and space to immerse themselves in the brand and well as relax in front of the plasma TV.
The home collections are also feature throughout the store with walls painted in the understated RAL 9010 shade of Missoni white, carpets in Wengen, Fleury and Carousel shades and stools covered in the signature Missoni chevron.
