LONDON, Apr 23, 2009 / FW/ — It is hard to upstage a Forevermark diamond, but Kate Moss can and she did last night during the unveiling of the Forevermark Precious Collection™ in London.

Wearing a metallic mini dress with pagoda shoulders and black stripes, Kate Moss who could easily pass as a Star Trek character in that get up graced the unveiling party of the ‘White Light’ diamond brooch designed by award-winning jewellery designer Shaun Leane.

Museum quality, ‘White Light’ is a truly magnificent brooch featuring thirteen, exquisite D-colour (the highest colour white diamonds can be) IF – internally flawless pear-shaped Forevermark diamonds which are set in delicate icicle styled 18 ct white gold and diamond collets and surrounded by a mount of branches and flowing pavé set enameled leaves.

The pavé area on the leaves represents fallen snow. The areas on the leaves where the snow has not fallen are hand engraved to represent the veins of the leaves, which are then enameled with transparent opalescent enamel.

In all, ‘White Light’ contains more than 2,477 diamonds all of which are painstakingly handset and weigh a total of 40.68 carats. It was modeled by Erin O’Connor during the evening.
