BARCELONA, Apr 9, 2009 / FW/ — On their debut at 080 Barcelona, Niels Klavers and Astrid Van Engelen designing under the label Klavers van Engelen proposed blue and black as the main color palette for a woman’s wardrobe for Fall 2009.
Presenting their signature style of alternative yet very wearable clothing, Klavers van Engelen used folding and draping to create the illusion of volume and movement.
Minimalist in the sense that there were practically no hardware nor embellishments, the collection is also very rich because of Klavers van Engelen clever manipulation of the fabric.
