Hence, Missoni opening its first mono-brand boutique in Africa, in the Moroccan city of Casablanca last Tuesday April 14th has that tinge of romance immediately woven into it simply because of what the name Casablanca invokes.
The store covers a total of 145 square meters, spans two floors and holds the Women’s and Home Collections.
A majestic gold fringed hanging lamp from the Missoni Home line welcomes customers and imparts the idea of a brand that mixes luxury and elegance in a way that is exclusively its own.
The ground floor is home to the women’s collection, pre-collection and accessories collection including bags, shoes and glasses. A spectacular staircase with crystal rails and iridescent natural vinyl steps leads to the second floor which is entirely dedicated to the Missoni Home line.
Wengen, Fleury, and Botanica carpets along with sofas and poufs showcasing Missoni fabrics adorn the entire store, which is distinguished by white walls in Pantone 9010 – typical of the renowned House.
Vittorio Missoni will be celebrating the new opening with a cocktail hour in the boutique in order to bring the essence of the House closer to his customers.
