Gaspard Yurkievich: the future of nostalgia
Instead of holding a catwalk show, Gaspard Yurkievich collaborated with French artist Antoine Bouillot for an art exhibition ‘Under the Louvre.’ Showing at the Carousel du Louvre from Jun 26 – 28, 2009, the exhibit is a cheerful and artistic reflection of the influences of pop culture and luxury to the artist and the designer, while echoing the Gaspard Yurkievich’s Spring / Summer 2010 collection.
Inspired by the photos of the West Coast’s relaxed and sophisticated lifestyle by Bruce Webber, Gaspard Yurkievich’s Spring 2010 menswear collection is available by appointment.
