Sjaak Hullekes Spring 2010PARIS, Jul 3, 2009 / FW/ — Entitled ‘Oscar’, the Spring / Summer 2010 collection of Sjaak Hullekes proves to be one of passion, craftsmanship, nostalgia and personality.

The result of the search for sophisticated finishing techniques, this collection focuses on fine detailing, comfort and the use of classic fabrics such as cottons, linens and silks in contemporary silhouettes.

By stitching all the collars and stands by hand, the Sjaak Hullekes collection breaths passion and craftsmanship.

The wearer’s uniqueness and fragility is expressed in distinct designs and clear-cuts in combination with natural colours like blue, brown, various greys and sun-faded red. In this collection all seams are finished with French seams.

Blazers and jackets have half linings, made of open-weave cottons, showing the craftsmanship as a part of the design.
