DALLAS, Aug 18, 2009 / FW/ — Michael Jackson might be gone, but his spirit lives on not just in his music but also with the multiple variations of the glove that is proposed this coming fall and winter.

Gloves are here in opposite extremes: Audrey Hepburn elegant and Kate Moss motorcycle rugged. Long and fingerless, these accessories come in mostly in leather, which are not only used to keep your hands warm. They exist to add polish and sophisticated glamour to an outfit.

Jill Stuart embellishes her fingerless gloves with feather detail. Zac Posen keeps it simple with black leather gloves, and Venexiana added some perky frill. Walter, with black leather fingerless gloves gives a rocker feel.

So don’t feel like you have to wait for freezing whether to pull this off. Look at it as buying a watch but still using your cell phone for time. This is a season where a glove’s appeal is greater than its function.
