DALLAS, Aug 13, 2009 / FW/ — It’s all about the pockets! If you have a favorite pair of jeans but don’t wear it all the time because it has become boring, then check out the newly launched Gridlock Denim.

Based in Los Angeles, women’s denim line Gridlock entered the marketplace this year targeting young women 21 – 35. With Gridlock’s patented designs of back pockets that can be removed and replaced in a matter of seconds, this could quite possible be the greatest innovation to dungarees since the zipper itself.

With more than 40 pocket designs that showcase everything from leather dye cuts to embroideries to skins and to ‘80s- inspired stars, chains, Gridlock also offer a variety of fit from skinny cut, straight leg, flare, boot cut, cigarette cut, bell bottoms and even skinny overalls.

Gridlock’s advantages over conventional jeans are numerous. With its removable- pockets system, women need to create the impression that they own a closet-full of sexy, great-fitting jeans.

They also allow women to create a different look and feel for themselves in an instant-simple one minute, flashy the next. It’s essentially like carrying an extra pair of jeans in your purse.

The first day Gridlock Denim hit the shelves of Kitson, Paris Hilton snagged three pairs and Courtney Cox even wrote a hand-written letter raving that Gridlock is a “cool concept” and “great fit”.

At the official launch party at Kiston on Thursday June 11th, celebrity fans came out to support their new favorite jeans Gridlock Denim…guests included, 90210’s Annalynne McCord, Twilight’s Ashley Greene, Shanna Moakler, newly crowned Miss USA Tami Farrell, Sean Stewart, Samaire Armstrong, Claudia Jordan, E! Gridlock Denim is ideal for the traveling woman or the budget fashionista who can create endless looks with just a switch of a pocket. As mentioned above, each pair of Gridlock Denim has a patented removable and interchangeable back pocket which grants the customer to be her own designer, allowing to mix and match according to her own personal style.

Gridlock Denim is exclusively sold at Kiton and online (www.GridlockDenim.com), but will eventually be available at high-end boutiques in Los Angeles, New York, Japan, and Europe.

The price range is $143 to $200. Additional sets of pockets are priced at $30 to $40. With a growing celebrity fan base, and billboards lining the gridlock traffic of LA, Gridlock Denim definitely is the IT jean to have in your closet.
