DALLAS, Aug 4, 2009 / FW/ — It was in May, at the beginning of summer that I last visited the Galleria here in Dallas and it was truly great to see that the store windows are much improved since then.

Beginning with the Tiffany & Co store windows (more like vitrines, really), there is now excitement, even movement. At Tiffany’s, crystals were cut to look like corals and the windows were turned into aquariums complete with an air filter, hence you actually see bubbles! There was also a little note on the window explaining how Tiffany was helping to save the coral reef.

Louis Vuitton can speak for themselves. Featuring the latest leather collection, the bags and totes were placed on specially created shelves.

The Guess window has a lot to say – from shoes to bags to denim. White headless mannequins were still being used, with bigger than life photos creating the “human” aspect.

Thomas Pink used forms to show both their men and women’s collections with bookshelf as the backdrop.
