Davidelfin Spring 2010NEW YORK, Sep 10, 2009 / FW/ — Though Davidelfin is debuting at Bryant Park this season, this is actually the Spanish designer’s second show in New York, his Big Apple debut being last season.

And though he is a new name in the New York fashion scene, Davidelfin is well-known in his native Madrid for his androgynous and futuristic silhouettes that are also sexually suggestive.

For Spring 2010, designer David Delfin played on his strength in androgyny as both the men and women wore manly clothes.

While some designers choose to play Victor/Victoria when they do androgyny, Delfin chose to do Victor/Victor. It was a big risk to stake, especially that this is a high-concept collection. Luckily it worked!
