Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Spring 2010MADRID, Oct 21, 2009 / — Unveiling a collection that paid tribute to the 50th edition of Pasarela Cibeles, the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Spring 2010 collection featured 50 models that are more Agatha than ever.

It is a unique fashion show, which is much less commercial than those presented in previous editions and has been conceived exclusively for Madrid as, this year, the designer is not participating in the Milan Fashion Show to present her most powerful collection in Spain.

With a reinvented retro air, the models will show pieces inspired by the trademark’s own track record presenting a fashion show/retrospective from the 80s and 90s to her most recent creations.

Balloons, gathers, pleats, flounces… The fashion show will turn into a fiesta of shapes and colours in an exercise of introspection whose result will be a true celebration of creative transgression, happiness and femininity.

It will be a true declaration of the principles of the person who has been putting everything that is conventional and boring in check for over 28 years.
