PARIS, Oct 5, 2009 / FW/ — At Akris, seeing something elegant and chic is always expected; yet season after season, Albert Kriemler continues to do something unexpected, hence there is also an element of surprise.

Akris Spring 2010

The opening exit, a coat dress with an oversized lapel adorned with a tiny belt that partly wove its way under the lapel broke the big story of the day, the chevron, which can easily be the letter A ( for Arkis) shown in different angles and leaning at different degrees.

Seen as an inverted A on the deep V necklines wherein part of the underwear was allowed to show get the “inverted A” effect, the imaginative way that Mr. Kriemler subliminally suggested ‘Arkis’ in most of the pieces was ingenious.
