PARIS, Oct 17, 2009 / FW/ — In the frames of the Art Week the International Biennale of contemporary art is being held in Tashkent from October 15 – 22, 2009.
With performances from the Ouzbeck dancers, Uzbec singer Munojat Yulchieva and Uzbec singer Mansour Tashmator, the gala opening was held on October 15th with H.E.Dr.Gulnara Karimova Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, Fund Forum and Akbar Khakimov Directeur of The Tashkent International Biennale of Modern Art in attendance.
Art professionals forum, lectures and master-classes together with contemporary art exhibitions where leading world and local artists, masters, graphics, photographers, art critics, curators and others will take part. All will be held in best Uzbekistan exhibition venues and pavilions during this project.
