PARIS, Oct 10, 2009 / FW/ — A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués, Christophe Guillarmé initiates an arty approach to fashion and that attitude gave birth to a collaboration with an artist in making his fashion debut a real artistic installation.

Working under J.C de Castelbajac, Dice Kayek and Stella Cadente after graduation, he decided to be on his own in 1998, the year that he launched his first collection and eponymous label.

“My style is noticeable at the first sight. I’m a real keeper of traditional creative approaches and exquisite finishing: my products are a mix between Glam Rock and couture,” says Guillarmé about his vision of fashion.

“My ultra feminine manner of conception shows the contemporary way of creating glamorous icons,” the designer added.

Traditionally unveiling his collection in Paris, Christophe Guillarmé has also shown in Dubai, Bangkok, Seoul, as well as the Cannes Shopping Festival, thus generating international recognition for his brand.

Collaborating regularly with Mia Frye, renowned choreographer and scenographer (The Fifth Element, Thierry Mugler, The Black Dahlia), Christophe Guillarmé’s desire to create outstanding collections increased as he begins to develop a global perspective.
