PARIS, Oct 8, 2009 / FW/ — Simply entitled ‘Alice’ the Collette Dinnigan Spring 2010 collection steps away from the Australian designer’s barely there dresses and presents something more substantial as Ms. Dinnigan brings her audience to a journey of contrasts – soft hues with bold prints and stripes to long and fluid silhouettes.
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Collette Dinnigan created her own version of the famous tale using clothes are the storyteller.
A mirage of color, prints and detailed embellishments were used in the long and short dresses with billowing sleeves that echo a fantasy spirit in this mostly eveningwear collection.
A new freedom of spirit combined with femininity is Collette Dinigan’s message this season.
