Duyos Spring 2010MADRID, Oct 27, 2009 / — Entitled Tiki, Duyos seems to have a double inspiration of sorts, the U.S. during the 1940s and the 1950s and its fascination with Polynesia, perhaps Hawaii in particular, resulting to nostalgic looks of an era gone by.

Prints are from the tropical jungle – palm leaves, hibiscus and birds of paradise and thus there is already a summery feel.

Duyos proposes smooth new silhouettes which alternate fitted patterns with others that are richly draped; silk organza velatures with natural cottons; authentic prints.

Tertiary colours such as aquamarines, stones, vanillas, navy-blues and strawberries dominate while a sophisticated encounter between suede and polished wood, sequins and natural raffia makes it impactful.
