PARIS, Oct 1, 2009 / FW/ — It was like seeing a master at his work. Gareth Pugh might be young in man years but his vision of fashion has a timelessness that transcends both past and future.

Gareth Pugh Spring 2010

Two weeks prior, in New York’s Milk Studios, Pugh mesmerized the Big Apple’s fashionistas with a short film about his thoughts on designing clothes. And yesterday, at the Palais de Tokyo, the British designer put his concept into reality.

Infusing theatrical themes into wearable clothes, Gareth Pugh shot two birds with one stone. He made the editors and photographers very happy as he met their expectations. The apocalyptic futuristic make up, even the fantasy filled headdresses are great materials for editorial shoot.

For the retail buyers, Gareth Pugh surprised them with the ‘straight from the runway to the sales floor’ looks like the multi-zippered trench coat and jacket, cigarette pants, slashed /bandage shift dress and leggings.

You just can’t get enough of the clothes, and when the show ended, you end up clamoring for more.
