Guillermina Baeza Spring 2010MADRID, Oct 30, 2009 / — For Spring 2010, Guillermina Baeza paid tribute to the 1920s, a time of social change, creativity and liberation for women. It was a decade in which the development of fashion marked a liberation in women’s bodies.

Women’s clothing ceased to static and rigid, the corset disappeared and women began to become conscious of their bodies’ movements.

Opting black and white with ranges of purples and greens as the main color palette, devorés on cotton lycra, poplin, stretch organzas and microfibers were the fabric choices, to create soft and feminine silhouettes which harmonize a woman’s body.

A prestigious and emblematic Spanish figure, designer Guillermina Baeza and her eponymous line of swimsuits and lingerie is a class of its own in the Spanish fashion scene.
