PARIS, Oct 6, 2009 / FW/ —Known for its exuberant prints, Leonard’s founder Daniel Tribouillard changed course this season and designed prints that have a calming effect by using cobalt, indigo and navy blues with white as background.

While flowers remain dominant, geometric shapes were also seen and thus a different vibe emerged, that of a tranquility and serenity as opposed to the high-spirited atmosphere usually associated with a Leonard show.

Designer Veronique Leroy who translates Daniel Tribouillard’s prints into clothes created scarf floor length dresses, Capri-length pants, bubble skirts and mini sundresses and wide-legged jumpsuits.
