LONDON, Oct 21, 2009 / FW/ — It seems that all the good roles are being sent George Clooney’s way. At the recently concluded Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival, George Clooney had three movies!

On the first day, the Fantastic Mr. Fox, an animated feature wherein George Clooney lent his unmistakable baritone voice to lead character Mr. Fox. On the second day, The Men Who Stare at Goats had its turn and on the 18th, the comedy drama ‘Up in the Air’ premiered sans George Clooney who was at the Eternal City attending the movie’s premiere at the 4th Rome International Film Festival.

Scheduled for a U.S. release on November 6th, “The Men Who Stare at Goats” is an adaptation of the Jon Ronson’s book of the same title.

The film follows a reporter, Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor), who stumbles onto the story of a lifetime when he meets a Special Forces operator, Lyn Cassady (George Clooney).

As they embark on a new mission, Lyn reveals his twenty-year involvement in this top secret, psychic military unit and shares details of their activities, each more bizarre than the last (including staring at goats in order to stop their hearts psychokinetically).

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Ewan McGregor as Bob Wilton, George Clooney as Lyn Cassady, Kevin Spacey as Larry Hooper, Jeff Bridges as Bill Django, Robert Patrick as Todd Nixon, Stephen Lang as General Hopgood, Stephen Root as Gus Lacey, Rebecca Mader as Helen, and Glenn Morshower as Major Jim Holtz.
