LONDON, Nov 11, 2099 / FW/ — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The Claridge’s Christmas tree designed by John Galliano for Dior will be unveiled in the hotel’s foyer on December 1st, and throughout the festive period, there will be a series of events celebrating the collaboration.

Some of the world’s greatest designers have left their mark on Claridge’s. And now, it is John Galliano’s turn with Claridge’s Frozen Tropical Christmas Tree that he designed under Dior’s banner. The tree will feature sparkling leaves and orchids in silver, white and blue, as well as crystal , giving the impression of the tree being frozen .

British by birth, John Galliano comments, “I am thrilled that Dior is collaborating with Claridge’s this Christmas. I love to visit Claridge’s when I am in London, particularly at this time of the year – and I hope to bring a twist to the traditional tree. I want to combine the festive with the innovative, the spirit of Dior with the beauty of Claridge’s, and create something spectacular that will inspire the perfect start to the season!”
