kenzo_accS1024PARIS, Nov 29, 2009 / FW/ — As a first impression, you’ll think that the inspiration was gladiator shoes and then you remember that in the desert, the nomads wear the same type of shoes that the Romans did.

Perhaps it was an exchange of culture between the ancient Romans and the desert nomads. Perhaps, they developed their own footwear based on their environment and their needs.

For Antonio Marras, it did not matter who invented which; his thoughts were of the desert and the shoes were about tiny straps and buckles. Of course he added stiletto heels, signature Kenzo prints and the used the best leather.

It’s about putting your best foot forward and Antonio Marras for Kenzo just gave you that!
