Located at Shanghai’s Plaza 66, the 130-square-meter store recalls the DNA of the Moncler brand with the added contemporary luxury feel.
Designed by the Gilles & Boissier architecture studio, the Shanghai boutique represents a landmark in the brand’s development in China as the company prepares to bring Moncler to more Chinese cities in 2010.
Two large windows open into the Moncler world, emphasized by French panelling in carved wood with floral relief motifs. It is a welcoming look which is in stark contrast with the glass used for the central counter and the pierre bleu used for the walls and floor. Both the men’s and women’s collections and a vast range of accessories all find room in the boutique.
Moncler boasts a global reputation thanks to a history spanning half a century that has made it a reference point in outdoor clothing. Technology and tradition have ensured Moncler has become a truly outstanding brand that looks back to its roots whilst at the same time continuing in its quest for the contemporary.
