DALLAS, Dec 15, 2009 / FW/ — While most of the world is in the mood for holiday cheers, world leaders are trying to make sure that there will be more holidays like this to come for a very long time at the COP15 United Nations Climate Change Conference Copenhagen 2009.

For those who read this site regularly, then most of you have figured out that personally, I am very aware of the environmental issues that the world faces.

No, I’m not a tree hugger nor do I consider myself an activist. I just believe that if all of us try to be conscientious about the environment at least once a day, like not keeping the faucet running while brushing our teeth, it will go a long way in saving the environment.

That said, two of the celebrity watch photos are Prince Charles and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger attending the COP15 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

Prince Charles Charles was spotted arriving at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark and Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger was making a speech. No, I don’t know who made their suits. Chances are their suit are bespoke (the equivalent of haute couture for women) and made-to-measure.

These two photos are personal indulgences simply because they are part of COP15.

Now, back to celebrity watching …

During a visit to South Africa, David Beckham took time out of his schedule to fulfill his Ambassadorial role for UNICEF and to highlight the progress that has been made around the world preventing mother to child transmission of HIV. He visited a UNICEF-supported programme in a clinic in Cape Town, South Africa where he met and talked to pregnant young women and new moms who are living with HIV.

Elisabetta Canalis, while attending last Thursday’s (Dec 10) UNICEF Ball with boyfriend George Clooney at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, wore a couture black satin Roberto Cavalli dress with chiffon sleeves.

Now, the question is, what will she wear at the Golden Globe Awards wherein George Clooney’s “Up in the Air” is nominated in 6 categories. Being Italian, Elisabetta Canalis has always favored Italian designers, especially Roberto Cavalli. Should we expect another Roberto Cavalli creation in January?

Meanwhile, in London, actress Kelly Reilly wore a peach silk chiffon Alberta Ferretti embroidered gown to the World Premiere of Sherlock Holmes at Empire Leicester Square in London, England on December 14th, 2009.

Kelly’s look is from Alberta Ferretti’s Spring 2010 Runway Collection.
