DALLAS, Jan 15, 2010 / FW/ — Even before ‘Cougar Town’ starring Courtney Cox hit ABC, it had entered the Urban Dictionary, which by the way defines “cougar” as a female, usually between 30 and 50 years old, who enjoys the company of younger men.
Building on this current zeitgeist, Dallas-based jewelry designer Dian Malouf created the “Cougar Ring” as part of her “word rings” series called “Endearings.”
Other rings featured in the collection have terms such as Mom, Nana, Darling, Sister, Sweetie, and Princess, among others.
Cougar rings are available in sizes 5 – 9 (half sizes are available). Each ring is made one at a time, and orders take 4-6 weeks.
