MILAN, Jan 17, 2010 / FW/ — It was a very special runway show for Ermenegildo Zegna yesterday. The Italian label founded in 1910 celebrated its centennial on the Milanese catwalk with siblings Gildo, Paulo and Anna Zegna, the fourth generation of this fashion family taking a collective bow at the end of the show.

So what does Ermenegildo Zegna propose for its 100th year aside of course from its advanced fabrics that are on the leading edge of inventiveness?

A very narrow color palette of blues, greens and grays; buttery leather coats; refined polo neck sweaters with neckties. Capes, coats and oversized jackets to wear over vests of quilted leather.
