MILAN, Jan 13, 2010 / FW/ — On the eve of the Milan menswear Fall 2010 season, Italo-Japanese fashion house Giuliano Fujiwara announced that it has signed a license agreement with Giovanni Bosso Atelier to manufacture a jewellery collection that will be available in the market by Fall 2010.
The collaboration between Giovanni Bosso Atelier and Giuliano Fujiwara was spearheaded by the brand’s Creative Director Masataka Matsumura.
Giovanni Bosso Atelier, whose headquarter is based in the goldsmith’s district of Valenza – has been operating for decades in the field of jewellery, and has gained an outstanding reputation for its contemporary and innovative designs, qualities that made it the ideal interpreter of Giuliano Fujiwara’s sophisticated and minimal style.
With the Japanese aesthetic philosophy Wabi-Sabi once again as the main source of inspiration, expect the jewelry collection to have clean, rigorous silhouettes, as well as pure, essential geometries.
Enhanced by meticulous manufacturing and precious materials, whose range includes gold, silver, resin and ebony, often paired with enamels and stones; in this way, each individual jewel acquires strength and personality.
A selection of unique pieces, created exclusively for F/W 2010-11, will be presented during Giuliano Fujiwara’s upcoming show on Sunday January 17th.
