Henry Cotton's Universy Fall 2010

MILAN, Jan 15, 2010 / FW/ — Staying true to its now classic preppy style, Henry Cotton’s University proposes a new dress code for young men – very masculine and strong that follows conventions but has nuances of modernity.

Military influence is seen in the parka jacket and the nylon trench coat, both of which can be paired with the chinos, gabardine and corduroy pants. And as always, the graphics are based on two universities – Harvard and Oxford.

The Harvard University collection was inspired by American football while for Oxford University, its institutional symbols and colors were the muses.

The colors are based on those standard-bearers of the sports university: red, yellow, green, blue in perfect tune with the neutral tones and military as the rest of the collection.
