NEW YORK, Feb 8, 2010 / FW/ — Even with a global recession going, Willow continues to expand with the opening of three stores in Australia during the past 18 months.
Sustaining this momentum, designer Kit Willow returns to New York Fashion Week to showcase her Fall 2010 runway collection.
Entitled “Eclipse”, the Fall 2010 collection was inspired by a woman with presence who is not looking to the past or the future; she is empowered by who and where she is today.
Kit says of this latest collection “It is about dressing women in 2010. It’s not about being nostalgic or futuristic. It’s about the ease of movement, practical wearability and inspiring fresh ideas in design.”
For the Eclipse collection, Kit Willow uses the natural curves of the body as her canvas and the fabrics work like a second skin, gently hugging and enhancing the body’s shape. Skin to skin, this sleek silhouette is like a shadow, a perfect eclipse of the feminine form.
