twinkleF1001NEW YORK, Feb 14, 2010 / FW/ — Inspired by the fairy tale Hansel & Gretel, Wenlan opted for a very narrow color palette of black, white and gray that was interspersed with purple, gold and deep red.

The signature cable and chunky knits are still there, assuring the audience that their favorite designer whom they fell in love with due to her innovative take in knitwear is still there.

But, Twinkle had also evolved, thanks to its designer who continues to push the envelope.

This season, the Junior Leaguer who was the original market for Twinkle decided to be a metro girl and dressed up with mini sheath dresses and cigarette pants paired with knitted tees.

The Junior Leaguer had turned into a sophisticate but there is still a certain naiveté in her, thus making this collection just to die for.
