NEW YORK, Feb 25, 2010 / FW/ — Y-3 has evolved into a full-pledged fashion label offering clothing, shoes, bags and other accessories.

Yet, shoes are still its core and no matter how many dresses, slacks, track suits, even messenger bags and totes go in the collection, the three stripes in the footwear are the ones that count the most to the Y-3 fans.

For Fall 2010, Yohji Yamamoto, the creative mind behind the label did not disappoint Y-3 fans. Beginning with the unforgettable show featuring laser lights to the ultra-modern take on Y-3 footwear that ranged from basketball shoes to trainers, even high heels and platforms for the girls, it was a feast for shoe lovers.

It is hard to choose the standouts, but as a girl, I would like to own a pair of the purple lace-ups with pointed toes and the Y-3 stilettos.

For men, everything will be a great addition to his wardrobe, no matter what he chooses.
