chapuriF1016PARIS, Mar 8, 2010 / FW/ — Inspired by Siberia, Russian designer Igor Chapurin made sure that the ladies will be warm in their soft cocoons of coats and jackets.

Traces of traditional Siberian garments are used in the design of the coats with fur-trimmed hoods. Large voluminous collars resembling those worn by the Siberians in the old ages give women a strong and powerful silhouette.

Silhouettes are architectural, as seen in the dresses and body suits with their clean lines and clear-cut geometry created in wool, jersey, broadcloth, natural silk, textured fabrics with fringes and colored sequins.

Using black as the principal color, Igor Chapurin threw in emerald, caramel yellow, bordeaux and brown serve to contrast with the black.
