sA74D8486PARIS, March 8, 2010/ FW/ — Veronique Branquinho did not present a runway show this season. Instead, we were treated to her recent collection of fine leather goods from her collaboration with the 180- year old house of Delvaux.

For those who may not be aware Delvaux is a Belgian brand which is no less equivalent to Hermes. To quote Branquinho “In Belgium, it is such a big story; it’s the top of the luxury business. When you graduate or get married, you get a Delvaux bag”

In beautiful large paneled rooms with gilded wood in the 16th district of Paris we were treated to Delvaux bags in black boxy styles. Fold over clutches in cognac, forest green suede all with the D symbol. Belts and bracelets were also in the mix.

Veronique Branquinho’s collaboration with Delvaux will only add to that which is truly grand about the brand.
