PARIS, Mar 10, 2010 / FW/ — One of the perennial favorites of FashionWindows is attending the Junko Shimada show. We wait with anticipation the next beautifully conceived shoe created by Ms. Shimada and whether or not the young models will be able to take command of her vision.
This season we were again not disappointed. Though, Ms. Shimada presented a smaller viewing it was no less creative. We were treated to bright leathers, fur and wonderful leather head wraps. For those days when you just don’t want to spend time doing your hair. All were complimented by large plastic macramé neck pieces with a strong African influence.
Junko Shimada continues to advance her vision and palette and FashionWindows enjoys being along for the ride.
