Lanvin-pwaw-2010

PARIS, March 7, 2010/ FW/ — Oh divine Lanvin and the equally lovable Alber Elbaz! Paris bows again to your creative genius. Raising Cleopatra from the annals of history, Alber Elbaz envisioned her as a 21st Queen not just of the desert but of the fashion world.

With a spiral staircase at the end of the runway, Alber Elbaz showed off his Queen in different angles, delighting the audience as each exit were slowly shown in a 180-degree motion.

Long luxurious fur surrounds the sleeves and collar of snow-white coat; a belt decorated with a massive plaque of rhinestones. Stunning coat with black patches resembling color exotic birds; a light beige tunic of organza with a large snake on one side are just some of the delicious offerings from Alber Elbaz for Fall 2010.

A black evening dress in silk created with a complex draping pinned at the waist is just one of the many intricate forms that were conceived. Standouts include the unforgettable red coat with voluminous shoulders.

The must-have accessories: long leather gloves, massive bracelets and necklaces made in the African style.
